hello! so the orange color tends to correlate more with what was in the chicken's feed than the nutritional value of the egg. that being said, the whole foods eggs are pasture-raised, which generally does correlate with better nutritional value because it means the chickens got to roam freely and eat a variety of food.

however sometimes cheap food chains put stuff in their feed that makes the egg yolks more orange without improving nutritional value.

Honestly, pretty solid nutrition advice overall, especially as you claim you're not a nutritionist/ professional. I like how you compare the shiny penny and the crumbled up hundo bill with recovery toys vs quality food, training and sleep. Thank you for sharing.

Regarding the "metabolic window" for getting protein in after a workout; it's not a complete myth, but it is a nuanced concept.. for most people (average or sub-elite) it will not make a huge difference in your performance and recovery if you eat some protein either 30 minutes after a workout, or 3 hours after... But the higher your level of performance, the more you will benefit from giving your muscles that protein sooner rather than later, and those minor benefits are compounded when you do this consistently. So I'm happy to see that you are taking protein in soon after working out.

Side question; have you ever considered or tried tracking your calorie/protein intake for a longer period of time?
