I’m my opinion your diet is the video was purfect. Not like some other runners eating only 2k calories a day

its funny. you start running, and all of a sudden, restaurant portions are TINY.

One of my favorite quote's from a teammate is
"Actually I eat so much that I should just be obese and really fat but I'm just so active"

metabolism is really cool thing, ive been running since 4th grade and am now a junior in hs and i could eat enough food to feed a large family and burn it off at practice the next day 😂

When I was ultra running under heavy training blocks I’d catch myself at about 6-7, 000 sometimes. I’m 6’7 too so it doesn’t help 🤣.

The best and fastest runners know that you have to pack in the calories. Just make sure they're the right calories so you stay super lean. I can't stand these "high level" runners who try to make us believe (and probably are fooling themselves too) that they eat only 2-3k calories a day. Yeah, OK...

When I ran in college, we all regularly ate close to 5, 000 calories a day, mostly carbs and very low fat. We all looked like we haven't eaten in 30 days but were FIT and HEALTHY as heck even considering the fact we would drink at parties after races

The problem is if you have a seasonal sport and maintain your high intake diet during the off season.

He isn’t lying I run nonstop as a 14 year old and I’m barely gaining weight, I’m still growing taller and with that comes weight but not like gaining more muscle mass. I’m not malnourished at all I eat a TON

As a 6’5” high school runner, I feel like I’m never full no matter how much I eat. I probably eat nearly that many calories or more every day.

When you said 70 miles per week I was like omg.. then realized I’m getting close to that and now I’m more excited to run tomorrow

You're not wrong
Because you burn a lot of calories and eating actually helps your body to keep up
Only short distance needs the most diet managing

It needs a lot of running to justify a high calories intake. So everyone running 2-3 times a week (single run) forget that. You wont burn that much.

I would love to see what your intake looks like. I’m really struggling to get enough in and feel like it’s not as hard as I’m making it. 🤔

Nothing makes me feel WAY BETTER THAN RUNNING! Tried weight training and other sports but nothing was enjoyment but only RUNNING! Is just addiction
