Heel Toe Downshift | Advanced Driving Technique

In this video, I show you how to Heel Toe Downshift. This involves hitting both the gas pedal and the brake pedal at the same time as you are slowing down and approaching a turn.

Too bad most "usual" cars ruin it for you by having gas pedal way lower than the brake :P I guess you don't need to Heel Toe them family wagons here in europe :P

Really good video, thanks. I´ve tried it a few times in the past but a big problem is that in modern cars the brake is often extremly soft so that there is no feedback, I hate that! It´s also hard to brake at a consistent level with the heel up from the floor, not to mention hitting the gas without doing a full braking.
In my own car I didn´t upgrade the brakes because that would have softened the pedal even more.

I love that Honda sound especially when you downshift. Tbh I didn't even learn how to drive a manual (will soon) and im already interested in track inspired techniques lmao

The problem I have when doing this is I can't keep constant brake pressure. My brake pedal is very sensitive and if I were to press it down that much then I'd be braking way too hard and when I press it lightly I can't keep constant pressure when I try to reach for the gas pedal.
