How To Add Border Frame To Photos On iPhone

Tap on image, rotate screen, take screenshot, then edit the screenshot (crop), select square. In case you wanted black bars to have a “full” photo showing with a square crop and frame. Best I have found so far.

Thanks for this, but is there a way to add a very wide border (5” or more) without cropping or using an external app or software? The widest I can get using this method isn’t close to the width I need. (iPhone 11 pro max)

Thank you! Exactly what needed to make a picture of a handwritten note look nice. Used three layers of borders of various width and that made it a bit more fancier looking than just one border.

Honestly this is extremley helpful without having to go to any external app/software to edit, i'm not poarticularly a fan of moving photos or videos around too much because of quality.

My question is how or would i be able to grab the photo itself and zoom it in and out of the border? for example to be inside the border instead of the border being on top as it looks in your demonstration
