Thanks for a good tutorial. I have now practised the Ps alternative. Is there a way to make that method easy to use on further images? So that I won't have to type in all the steps every time..

Great video! I figured out how to do put a border even with a cropped photo.

Save the cropped and edited image to your camera roll or where ever if you’re using desktop. Then delete it in light room, then you can simply upload it again and crop it!

My favourite way to add a border to any canvas in Photoshop:

1. Flatten the image, then from "Layers" Tab, unlock the background.
2. Create new layer and put it under the image.
3. Paint the newly created layer with the Paint Bucket Tool to any color you want (this will be your border color).
4. Select the layer that has the image
5. Free Transform the layer to make it smaller (Alt + Mouse Drag from any border).

Hope this helps :)

How do you get the photo with the new border into the develop or library module so I can export it to my hardrive?

Hey! Would you have an advice on how to cut out an entire photo (a scan from an analog photo) so to keep only its analog border frame of it so that I can use it in other photos as a layer for example?

why is the border only showing up on the bottom of the photo? Do I have some setting wrong? I have "OFF" clicked below the upright button under transform...??? Thanks!
