Adding a Border in Adobe Premiere Pro!

A tutorial on how to add a border in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Guys, seriously.

Just add the effect "Bevel Edges." Change the Light Color to whatever you want (black works best, but other darkish colors are good too), and change the edge thickness to whatever thickness you want. Simple.

Easy to follow directions. After I watch each video, I do it on my own for practice. Then I write down the steps on an index card so I can remember each of the steps. Love this guy!

Great tutorial but figured out a faster way

In case you don't always have comp size of 1920x1080 and so on. (if you just found a random photo online and don't want to waste time looking at the size of each one)

Create a drop shadow, turn the opacity all the way up, change to white, and fix the angle to fit border

the problem i run into while using this method is, whenever i have a smaller resolution picture, i always end up with a lot of excess borders, does anyone know how to fix this problem ?

Hey would be awesome if you could make some mini tutorials for After Effects. I usually edit my gameplay videos with Premiere but I am always thinking what could I do with After Effects instead 😊 I have no clue about that program and maybe nor do you, just an idea :)
