Router would be "smart" if it actually worked! I've had no internet since June 26, 2020 which meant I had to take vacation/sick days from work. Long story short, after scheduling service calls twice and nobody showing up, I was told the 3rd time I called that they can't come to my house because of covid-19. But they're still charging me even though none of my services worked. No internet, no home phone, and TV only channels 1-13, plus no DVR, no On Demand. Unbelievable!! I'm filing a complaint with FCC and BBB :/

How does the modem locks on to the network via coaxial? Is it using the pre-existing connection from the cable company or does it connect via satellite tower signals? I’m a bit confused being a recent field tech.

Is there anyway i can get to QoS set up with their router?

I can't block devices by MAC address. This "smart router" is horrible.

My modem when it turns on it keeps blinking on the online mark and then goes back to the us/DS mark and it's been doing his for a while?What do I do?

I'm getting this message when I try to access router settings all of a sudden "You will soon be able to manage your router settings online, from any location. You will be notified when this feature becomes available." Any help would be appreciated

How do you port forward a server with this. I thought I had it, but it just won't work! Could you make a video on this?

Is there any way to disable "smart router?" It does not let me select a static IP to port forward, and things were easier without this thing.

You can't edit basic fucking functions like DHCP on this. And the router cuts off every 30 minutes because it lacks the ability for the user to edit the settings. Unuseable for anyone who wants to play or stream games.

connected the router...no internet...no nothing. Disconnected MR Smart & reconnected old modem. Optimum threatened to charge me for both devices. I advised them that it would be a bad idea. They have not charged me.
