Convert Time in Excel (Days to Hours, Hours to Minutes, etc)

Have you ever wanted to convert time into something more useful? No this is not a way to make you bend the space time continuum or turn you into some Einstein. However if you've got some start and end times and wanted to do some comparison of days, weeks or even years, there is a function in Excel called CONVERT that will help you out a lot. After learning this, you'll almost feel like you could bend time or maybe just have some kind of super power (at least in Excel). Check out the video to learn it.

Thanks for the video....can we have date format in dd-mm-yy format followed by the time ? Or the excel can only take the system date format to calculate ?

@doug h great Video. I have one thing to ask. I also have to calculate the total hours within the working hours. exp. my start date is 19/4/2019 10:00am and end date is 26/4/2019 7:00 pm and working hours are start 9:00 am and end is 8:00 pm everyday (excluding Sunday). how do I calculate the total time in days hours and minutes. I wanted to know how to input time log including the seconds. CTRL + SHIFT + COLON only input time in hours and minutes the seconds are always logged as 00. I wanted to compute elapse time in seconds. Anybody can help?
