Use 2 Audio Outputs at the Same Time on Windows

Click on the Start, type Sound into the search space and select same from the list.

Select Speakers as the default playback device.

Go to the "Recording" tab, right-click and enable "Show Disabled Devices"

A recording device called "Wave Out Mix", "Mono Mix" or "Stereo Mix" should appear.

Right click on the new device and click "Enable"

Right click on the new device and click "Set as Default Device"

Double click on the new device to open the Properties window
Go to the "Listen" tab

Click on the "Listen to this device" checkbox

Select your HDMI device from the "Playback through this device" list

Now check if you're able to use the both device at same time.

for people like me getting in to content creation/ streaming... if you are on windows 11 you have to click on more sound setting under advanced when you in your sound mixer/settings

it is just most of users will not have "stereo mix" device even in disabled devices... so no, it is not a solution

I followed perfect but that drop down has no setting option which offers two output. I just see single output options like ever other sound setting in windows.

It doesn't work IF your first device is USB audio and second device regular speakers with jack input.
If you have first audio device with jack input and second USB audio then it's ok, but I need the first version.
I tried this with logitech speakers and USB headphones itegrated with VR headset (reverb G2).
It would be nice to have just subwoofer connected under the chair when in VR, but it doesnt work.

well it works, but I wanted to get more than just front audio while playing stuff through a browser, I wanted audio in the back speakers as well, but those are not recognized as separate devices so it's useless in that regards.
It's amazing how impossible it is to play browser audio through more than the standard front channels.
Also the only other output device I had was my TV and the audio coming through that was very delayed.

When testing the playback devices after setting the "listen to this device" option, be sure to hit "apply" to test if it works. I was wondering why my set-up wasn't working like it had been. Looks like if it borks, then hit that apply button again
