You also have to then double-click stereo and choose the Listen tab. then click "Listen to this device" and choose your second audio device from the dropdown list. If it still doesn't work, your computer or the devices might not support the option. that's all I know.

there is quite a huge lag, any solutions to this? One of the outputs lags behind the other ones. This applies if the other output is aux or Bluetooth, same issue.

for anyone who is confused, this video is not what you're looking for. The drivers he is talking about come with specific audio devices and are for the purpose of combining audio channels. Basically so you can hear say zoom and youtube at the same time. This is outdated and windows can handle this on its own now. This is just my understanding of it and I could be wrong so feel free to correct me or explain it better.

I'm going to suggest that if your "stereo mix" speakers are under your "recording" tab, you're already doing something wrong.

Strangely I get an echo, 1/4th second delay. Not sure why.

It does work, he didnt give much explaination. After the steps on the video, right click on stereo mix then go to listen, the box for "listen to this device" should be ticked on(checked)✅, then you have to choose your secondary speaker under "play through this device". Your current audio output/primary speaker should not be same as secondary. Also no need to restart it happens seemlessly.
From my understanding it listens to the audio in one of your speaker(primary) and outputs it through the secondary.

Why is it not possible to have 2 monitors and w11 sees both monitors but only plays sounds on 1? I mean, i want sound on both from 2 different sources. I would like to have a browser open with audio on monitor 1 and spotify with audio on monitor 2 but it seems impossible.
