I pressed my FN key + F6 and it fixed it literally tried everything and this worked.

Many thanks for the instructions on how to fix this - the FN key + F4 (for my laptop - MSI GE 76 Raider) absolutely did the trick. Was a very frustrating hour or so until I came across this video. Thank you again! :-)

Hey need help ! can't detect usb video device in the first place

For some reason, the light for my webcam was on, so I thought "oh maybe I didn't close the camera app" despite the fact I never even opened it. So I opened the app and it said "another application is using your camera, please close it and re-open application", so I closed everything I was using, but that did not work. Nor did this method in the video. The light has on been for 3 hours. I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if my webcam was hacked. I'm trying to tell myself there is a logical reason, but I can't seem to find anything. Does anyone know anything about this? (by the way, the error that the app said was different from the 1 on the video, I just thought it could maybe work.)

What is the laptop integrated camera does not appear at all at the device manager? Would in this case surely be a physical issue?

I uninstalled the camera like they said to in device manager, but when I scan for hardware changes my little webcam icon doesn't come back like it does in the video! someone have any tips??

my lcd was rcently changed, now the mic/camera won't work, is it connected to the lcd change? maybe something was not connected inside.

For step 3, when i go into my device settings, camera isnt even there. Could this be why im seeing the error message to begin with?
