I was prescribed estradiol about 6 months ago for postmenopausal vaginal atrophy, and I am so happy with the results. I know there are warnings about it, but for me it has been fantastic. It has reversed my cognitive decline, moodiness, depression, heart issues, osteoporosis, and more! ❤

Thank you for saying you don’t use BELIEF, you use data, facts and science. Many people don’t seem to know the difference.

Your last comment about not prescribing meds based on your personal beliefs…means everything! ❤

I felt horrible on traditional Rx estrogen. I was not myself to say the least. Switched to bio identical and I was back in business! Yes, it's very expensive but I still need to work for 10 more years in a competitive field with people who are 15 to 20 years younger than me - so, it's worth it. Btw, these bio identical hormones help plump up my face and give my skin a rosy glow. No one ever guesses I'm 58!

Bio identical progesterone saved me from suicide battled for almost a year till I begged my holistic medical dr at the time for bio identical progesterone as he didn’t use pharmaceuticals, at times he would if natural wasn’t working, but exactly 1-2 weeks after starting bio identical progesterone those thoughts left and haven’t returned…..years now and I don’t have a death wish….now I am starting bio identical estrogen and it is helping **** waiting on my pharmacy to compound it 3-4 business days*** forgot to ask my dr for more when he retired last November after 14 years almost with him, I was on off due to being financially tight, thankfully it is helping my SEVERE allergies 🤧……I have a SHORT SPACE OF TIME TO GET MY health back on track. I may soon have to live on my own.

Don’t let the naysayers get under your skin and make you a defensive doctor like most of the male doctors. I appreciate your knowledge!

There is a new study out, estrodial does have more preventive outcomes like less likely strokes, heart attack. Etc

I don't think she was actually asking for your personal belief, she was asking for your professional opinion.

My insurance company refuses to cover FDA-approved estradiol gel, insisting I go through step therapy with tablets first. This is yet another example of how the insurance system is a broken scam.

"I don't use my personal beliefs... I use data facts and science." ❤️ It's great to hear you say that, it shouldn't need to be said (having watched you for a long time) yeah!
So glad I have rejected taking the Ethinylestradiol earlier in my life. Synthetic rubbish, another reason I hope women these days find reward in loving their bodies and learning better ways than the pill.

It seems she was asking which scientific data do you believe to be accurate.

“after age 65 years, the use of estrogen monotherapy beyond age 65 years was associated with significant risk reductions in mortality (19% or adjusted hazards ratio, 0.81; 95% CI, 0.79-0.82), breast cancer (16%), lung cancer (13%), colorectal cancer (12%), congestive heart failure (CHF) (5%), venous thromboembolism (3%), atrial fibrillation (4%), acute myocardial infarction (11%), and dementia (2%). For the use of estrogen and progestogen combo-therapy, both E+ progestin and E+ progesterone were associated with increased risk of breast cancer by 10%-19%, but such risk can be mitigated using low dose of transdermal or vaginal E+ progestin.”

I was on Estradiol patches and started reacting to them. Increased body pain, depression, mood changes, suicidal thoughts. I was never depressed in my entire life...until my doctor incresed the dose from 0.25 to 0.50 mg.
The doctor put me now on Bi-Est 20/80 bioidentical, Testosterone 6 mg and Progesterone 100 mg.
No more reaction and I feel great.

I had been on estradiol before total hysterectomy and feel much better on pellets now which also include testosterone. But i can see where i don't need a pregnancy hormone with no uterus. I get conflicting opinions from Gyno and Internist on the bio identical HRT and both have solid science-based evidence. Just got to try to see what works best..

I was prescribed this after my total hysterectomy and I took it for 5 days and realized I didn't want a headache or my hot flashes and night sweats 10x worse I had 12 refills on that bottle and I throwed that crap in the garbage can. I don't take anything but magnesium, THC, CBD and mushrooms and do so much better than the prescribed meds my OB tried to give me.

Thank god for you; I’m learning so much. My 62 yo friend went to her doctor with menopause symptoms. No blood work at all, he put her on estradiol. When she started having heavy menC, he told her to cut the dose in half???? Wow
