They sponsored an old episode of my podcast in 2020. They sent over a purple orbit and I used it as a living room setup. I really enjoyed my time with it. I’d have to agree with the belt being a hassle.

I just ordered my Custom last week, I will be receiving it next week a day before my birthday. I optioned out mine with the cue arm arm, acrylic platter and pre-amp. I don’t need the speed control, since I’ll just be listening to full 33’s. I was considering the Orbit Special, but after tinkering with the Custom build on U-Turn’s site, I went with the Custom. I upgraded the cartridge to the highest tier they allow, the Ortofon 2M Blue and everything ended up being a bit cheaper than the Special!!! Until I also bought the cork mat and gold plated audio cables, U-Turn also sells. Lol

Man I kind of want the custom for the green color but the Theories tone arm with all its adjustability and the Ortofon Bronze really is making me think twice.
