Couch stretch… King Arthur... Spear Pose...

Whatever you want to call it, it really doesn’t matter 😂 But did you know the two different ways you can use this stretch to target the different muscles?

🔹 When we maximise knee flexion (bending it), we bias the quad stretch more

🔸 When we maximise hip extension (leg moving behind the body) we bias the hip flexor stretch more

BOTH versions of this stretch are super effective and super valuable so give them both a try and see if you can feel the different muscles targeted in each! 🧠

Nice simple explanation thank you ima try this today after training legs yesterday I usually take 2 days to feel my doms so maybe this will help just stretch my joints and hip flexors before the pain of DOMS

Also need to release psoas, any tips? My hip flexors are so tight I feel like I have no blood flow through them when I do an incline hike so I'm looking forward to trying these so hopefully I can get back into enjoying back country hiking. I saw a different content creator showing a stretch and they advised to go well past the 90 degree point on the knee over toes IF comfortable, no pain. I've always heard this is a no no. Any input on that?
