I’ve personally been really enjoying Motorsport, I find the multiplayer racing to be much closer and meaningful than any previous title. I would love to see some Hoki community races in the future!

I've watched alot of "tips" type videos for every racing game I've been interested in. Usually... it's always common sense stuff. This video is actually very informative... thank you!

I got reminded real fast that I wasn't playing Horizon when I understeered straight into a wall in I think the very first corner of the first intro race lol. Really liking how this feels so far, especially with the wheel settings dialed in and a solid tune.

One crucial tip for any newcomers to Forza(or even experienced players who hadn't realised it) is that the braking guide gives you all the information you need to brake perfectly: the reason it's orange and red is because you need to try and turn the red parts orange as you brake.

By carefully controlling your brake input(on pedals or on controller) and gently pressing the brake as you hit the orange part, you will turn the red parts ahead of you the same colour as the orange parts. This is basically what you want to do with every corner. Always aims to turn the red parts orange. This way you carry much, much more speed through corners. (It also makes trail braking possible, but that's a different story and I don't want to overcomplicate things.)

So if you dive into a corner and slam on the brakes when you hit the red parts you're missing out on what the braking guide is telling you to do. This is such a crucial piece of info, and the game doesn't explain the meaning of the different colours in the braking guideline at any point.

Honestly I feel like this motorsport is exactly what I needed to get more into the racing sim genre. I started with Asetto Corsa, which was fun and all but felt really lonely and I never felt very confident to run in public event lobbies, so I never did. I feel like this is a great way for me to improve as a sim racer, in a public online curated system without breaking the bank (iRacing lol).

The campaign is fun to play with and learn the game, tracks, and play random cars. I'm excited to keep diving deeper and trying more cars that I never thought I'd be into.

13:33 Remember to also leave Rewind on when offline as it can let you learn a track much faster while having more fun then reseting or coming in last.

Your videos helped me back when FH4 was new & started getting use to tuning. Now I've forgotten all of that so looking forward to your in depth tuning guides.

Looking forward to the wheel setup guide, especially because I think you have the TX which should be similar to my T300

I really enjoy driving in FM - it drives so much easier compared to FM7 which felt like you're on skates, constantly sliding. thanks for the tips!

Interesting that you can seemingly level up your car in free race and it will carry over to career. Might grind out my Alfa Giulietta so I can run it in the hot hatch cup.

The amount of available setup in multiplayer looks very promising for the racing leagues 👌

In Rivals, the skip lap feature is really good and I'm so happy that was added in. The online private multiplayer settings are really cool as I had a lobby with friends the other night and we just messed around around Silverstone with a variety of cars having a laugh. Group grinding is a good laugh in those lobbies. Thanks for the tips Hoshi :)

Great video! Very comprehensive. I appreciate a simple guide on tuning as it seems overwhelming 😅

I haven't played a Motorsport game since 4 (have been playing a lot of Horizon 5 though). It's harder than I remember.

As one who's still learning to drive on the wheel, i look forward to the wheel setup vid. I did wanna ask since you brought up replays, does it play the whole thing? In FM7, my replays would only play the first 20 min or so

10:06 Thank you I was complaining about the default FOV has your guy whearing a Rift DV1 siting walwugi style on the wheel... I prefer "seeing" all 3 mirrors as I do IRL so I don't "Need " no proxy arrows.
