I remember taking it literally and asked my dad. “Dad, where do people go when they disappear.” And he said, “I don’t know son, they just disappear.” So I thought they literally just vanished into thin air and ceased to exist. 😂

As someone who works in law enforcement, if someone goes missing, 90% of the time it’s because they were murdered. The other 10% is because they ran away from home to live elsewhere, or they were kidnapped. It’s better to assume they were murdered by someone who did not like them, or by someone who wanted to sexually assault them. (usually happens to women who go missing)

As a Mexican it aches my heart watching videos like this while there are thousands of families here that are still looking for their loved ones. It makes me so sad that missing people in my country is an everyday thing, something you just wish won’t happen to you or your family.
