My ex wife would put a lit incense stick, some people use a cigarette, when you put the lit end near the tick it automatically backs out. Simplest and safest way. No chance breaking off the head and possibly getting an infection.

My daughter had a tick on her when she was little. I took some flea powder and sprinkled a little bit on the tick and when it started moving I put a towel over my hand and and pulled it off. I was camping n hiking so ticks were our problems n could be dangerous to our life that why I always carry alcohol bottle n some cotton balls with me. I removed tick with wet cotton ball then cover tick it in few seconds it will release skin n at the same times alcohol help ed stop any desease get deeper. I kept that tick in the ziplock so I can show my doctor for her to find out the tick had diseases or not. My experienced have helped others n hopefully will help you all🤞

For all the people saying just burn it an it'll let go, yes it will but after vomiting directly into the wound giving you a big dose of whatever it may be carrying. If you're worried about what a tick bite can do, dont make it literally puke INSIDE you

Heat one of the pliers up when you grab the tick with hot pliers, it will release from the skin
