For BOTH of them, let me know HOW you plan to use a watch to help you be on time!

I'm definitely watching this video in its entirety. Being late has cost me opportunities including one potential gig. The recruiter who set up the interview for it informed me the client told her I was late for the appointment (I unfortunately was) and that seeing this gave her (the hiring manager) the impression that I'd in turn would be late to work if I was selected for the assignment. I'm in between jobs now and have been for awhile so this bad habit definitely adversely impacted me.

These are things that work for me-
1) wear a watch, keep all watch times 10 min ahead (wearable, car, wall clocks, all except phone time)
2) have your schedule written down somewhere, with 15 minute buffers.
3) if for some unforeseen reason you’re running late, call to inform about the delay. The fear of confrontation will more often than not make sure you’re meeting your timelines.
4) Over estimate the time it takes to travel- 15 min plus the time google maps says, as traffic, parking availability and walking to the place are all a gamble. Even if you’re taking a cab, the driver may be slow or you may not get a cab immediately.
Great video as always!

Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable.

Now gimme a watch daddy. Lol

As a bus driver I'm always aware of time. At first it was a change and that was hard for me with such a time sensitive career. When I'm trying to catch a connection for a passenger and there's only three minutes leeway before they miss it, I know what time it is. And I know and so do they when I miss it.

These are great tips and I've already implemented most of them. I was late a few times and I almost got fired at first and that would have been a shame because I love driving a bus and helping those who I can.

My problem is going to bed on time. I've set an alarm now and it's helping but I need to adhere to it every day. I can't wake up at 4:45 to go to the gym if I'm going to bed at 11, I just need to stick to it. I am doing better though. Take care.

Great video on an important topic, Antonio!

I'll add a couple of tips that I use. I'm usually quite punctual once I'm up and about in the day, but I found first thing in the morning, I was getting a bit slow to get going and that meant I was getting out of the house a good ten minutes or so later than my ideal, which meant I was hitting the worst traffic peak, arriving later at work than I would like and then having to struggle to find a parking slot because guess what, everyone else was more punctual.

So this what I did (apart from some things which were discussed in the video, like adding margins): -

1. Although the clocks on my phone, my wristwatch and in my car are all exactly on time, I have deliberately put the alarm clock and the clock in my bathroom 10 minutes ahead of the actual time. Yes, I know somewhere in my mind that I've done it, but it's a great self-trick for first thing in the morning when you don't quite recall that fact. It makes you move faster first thing and it gets you ready ahead of time.

2. I set my alarm clock with three alarms at five minute intervals. Hitting snooze doesn't work when you've got three alarms in a row!

3. When I'm looking to do a particular activity that can be time-consuming or where I may be 'lost' in the task, I take 10 seconds to decide how long it should take and use the timer function on my phone to 'enforce' that time.

I have to listen to your GREAT YouTube video and take notes, like when I was in college. I’m starting to become habitually late. I have a problem. #1! By the way, thank you, sincerely, for serving this great country by being part of the armed forces. You volunteered. What an example for those four children... and for me. Thank you, again, for serving.

Hello Mr. Antonio, this video really woke my mentality up, because I’ve been late to school and work. But with you’re tips, it finally touched me to become a more responsible man of my time. I thank you sir and keep on making great videos 👍

Great video, Antonio. I can indeed relate to the family-always-late scenario, as I seem to be the only one in my family who cares about not being 5 minutes late to everything. Therefore, I have set a goal for myself about never being late to anything.. easier said than done!

Regarding a watch, the Vincero Kairos Automatic black/blue is one I would love to wear. It is elegant, and would not let me forget that it’s there on my wrist!

Also, sorry for my not perfect English.

Giving yourself margin time is really useful tip especially when things take more/less time than expected. I have been doing this for a while now and it has had a significant effect on my schedule.

I was late so often in high school, I got to my graduation exactly as they called up the person.

The problem nowadays is that people aren't ashamed of being late anymore and its perfectly normal to let others wait.

Hey Antonio. I'm graduating college in 2 days and I'm buying the White/Silver Kairos as a graduation gift to myself! It's the perfect dress watch that you recommend as the first watch a man should get.

Amazing quality build, 316L stainless steel, sapphire coated crystal, top grain leather, interchangable bands for interchangable wardrobe, perfect dimensions for my wrist, the Italian marble showcase, etc. Vincero watches are amazing and I can't wait to buy more; next purchases are a Chrono and an Automatic!

You're my favorite style YouTuber and I've began dressing up and I need a good watch to always have on to complete the outfits! (Along with matching Anson belts of course.)

Looking at the watch on your wrist is the perfect way to make sure you're on time, on schedule, and to stay focused without getting distracted by your phone. A watch like Vincero reminds you of your accomplishments, to keep moving forward without distractions and focus on the important things in life, and to sieze the day. Veni, vidi, vici!

P.S. I absolutely love your content and it just keeps getting better and better! Keep it up Antonio!

As a manager, my employees that are habitually late will be passed over for promotions and will likely be the first to be fired during a reduction in force. I find in almost every instance that these types of employees always have an excuse for everything.

I'm going to be honest with myself. I am not punctual, I am unorganised. Great now I can improve thanks to this awesome video! Become the man I know myself to be! I love the Vincero Chrono S Black/Olive for the sophistication and classiness of the chronograph and the rugged appeal of the green crocodile band. From original grain the minimalist 40mm Cognac Gold stands out to me. Ok i'm guessing you want me to choose one haha? Vincero Chrono S Black/Olive. Having a watch to look down at the time in a quick flick of the wrist would be extremely practical. I could set myself small goals such as: in 1 hour i'm of youtube and outside to do things that make me happy and develop my passions. Or 30 mins from now i'm going to have a break from my yr12 homework and study to refresh my mind. Cheers Antonio and great video as always!

One of my biggest pet peeves is the person (man or woman) who is *habitually* late (emphasis on habitually). You have told me everything I need to know about you and your level of reliability and responsibility when you're constantly late to everything. Good video!
