Time Management: 4 Quick Tips to Stop Being Late

Ready to cure your chronic lateness and learn how to become a time-bender?

Once you’ve watched the video, leave a comment and let me know:

Which one of the tips are you going to try first?
Do you have other time-bending practices?

Tell me all about it. I LOVE talking and learning about how we can change our experience of time, and I have no doubt that you have some awesome ideas.

Remember this: In the early 20th century, Einstein proved that time is relative. We can shift it at our will. Time-bending is available to everyone, absolutely free, and practicing it will change your experience of life in such profound ways that the top of your head might blow right off.

You don’t have to live as a servant to time anymore. You can become the master of it by bending time at your will, and the time to start is NOW.

Happy time-bending!

P.S. Have a friend who’s always rushing and late? Send them this video.

As a chronically late person looking for guidance this is the worst advice I’ve ever heard. “Don’t worry about it and time will slow down for you” cool thanks for nothing

Cool. Everyone looking for help with being late for work are now fired.

I decided to try and experience timelessness like the video suggested. It worked!! I felt it!! Now I am experiencing homelessness, joblessness, foodlessness and joylessness. 🤷🏼‍♀️ What'd I do wrong??

As someone with a physics degree this hurt my brain.

I think this advice may be better for someone with a personality opposite than mine. Lol. I very much dislike getting ready for things in general, and don't like to stress, so I tend to put it off and not rush, and am very good at soaking in the present moment in the meantime, taking 2 or 3x's more time to get ready than what I had. Maybe I've been late so many times that I just associate getting ready for things with stress. So, maybe I need a different solution, but I do appreciate the advice to calm down and not feel panicked.

Ok so that's like saying, "oh I'm already late, so I may as well just take my time and get there relaxed!!"...not so relaxing after you're fired.

Next time I should try what she said so I can squeeze in extra sleep before night shift. Try to drive a 20 min journey in less than 10 mins without speeding. Nevermind if I'm 15 mins late.

I try to tell people this, too, but they just frown at me when I show up 3 hours late and they ignore the fact that I've completely changed the space-time continuum 🤷‍♀️ . I am always 3 hours late to social events, 30 mins late to an office job nearly daily (before I was fired ) and to all and any appointments. I guess other people are stuck in the third dimension, unlike people like you and I.
Unfortunately, if I want to connect with other humans beings, animals, nature, agriculture... Have my garden function, bills on time, taxis not abandon me, and not go hungry from the shops closing before I get to go food shopping or lose my doctor appointments- I need advice on how to stop trying to break the laws of physics and be a "Normie".
Also, breaking my dates heart because he thought I stood him up ...and I really like this man... was the final straw.
He too, didn't buy my excuse of bending time and slowing it down... (Neither did the restaurant we were meant to meet at.) 😢
I don't like hurting others around me, letting them down.

It seems this woman can't help me fix the problem, though. She obviously doesn't realise that unfortunately, others aren't on board with our time bending. 🙄😑😐. What a dopey person she is.

So uhm... April fools? If I'm already way late slow breathing won't help 😂
Sure, slowing down can help a bit, but this doesn't cure the actual problem of not planning well

When you're late so often that you start to use Einstein's theory of relativity as an excuse

It can be helpful to stop for a minute to focus and breathe so I am not crazy frustrated by making more mistakes, but if I would actually take your advice not only would I be late, I would never get to where I'm going. I wish this would work though!

Really love how you explained how to simply use your time ! Can’t rush or put too much on your plate ! That can lead to being late !

Can you please tell everyone else in the world to start adopting this, too? Cause I find that other people don't buy this excuse when I try to explain why I'm late.

That isn't what Einstein meant.
It's not about individual perception but specific measurements that time can be relative in this universe. What dictates that is speed and gravity.

I agree with the calming down part. It helps us be in control.

I thought this was satire at first. As a scientist, this is almost disrespectful to the Theory of Relativity. Special Relativity is not something you can manipulate through feeling(?) or mindfulness. It is quantifiably expressed by a mathematical formula, meaning the numbers and effects are concrete.

Differences in relativity are observed on MASSIVE scales. We don’t even start to account for the effects of relativity until speeds reach around 1/10th the speed of light — 6.706e+7 mph. There is no way that you were traveling so fast, or thinking hard enough(???), that you halved time on Earth. This claim is preposterous and nonsensical. In reality, it was either a GPS error, or your husband calmed down and was making level head decisions resulting in an efficient trip.

C’mon. We’re all looking for demonstrable ways to be more punctual and you’re telling us to just think hard about time slowing down. Absolutely ridiculous.

This really works. When I slow down, I actually turn up on time. When I am late, I am late on purpose.

I like it!! It did happen to me, just relaxing and I got in time although tgere was a crazy traffic

“Time waits for no ma…” wait, what? Hold on…I stand corrected, apparently you can just bend it. Never mind.

I've done the same thing. I ask the Universe for help and stop watching the clock so I don't panic and leave the moment.
