I love your honesty, not the usual YouTube impossible productivity charade. I'm in a difficult situation: too many responsibilities (2 jobs and trying to finish my studies) and none done well, always arriving late. What matters most to me are my studies but I'm stuck preparing for a single final exam that I keep putting off (it's been more than a year, in July it will be two). I started going to therapy, first systematic, then psychoanalysis, but I continue with the same behavior. I keep finding myself in the same place, without adequately preparing in time for the exam and even making mistakes on dates and forms, as if something inside me was conspiring against it. I feel like something in me is broken and preventing me from functioning properly. Eventually I will get over it, I hope. Meanwhile, it's refreshing to hear someone who doesn't pretend to have it all figured out and keeps fighting.

My challenge is when I break down a project or activity into tasks, I get immediately overwhelmed and cannot even look at the list I made!

Thank you for posting this, watching your process was really helpful. Esp the realisation that you don’t actually have 14hrs to spend on doing two videos a week. (My thought was to get someone else to do the editing and give it back to you for post production.) Anyway, you have inspired me to try engaging with the neurotypical world which I have just about given up on. 💕

Okay now I know I love your content! This is right up my alley. I've been making content since 2009 and I always try to explain to people how LONG content can take to make. Especially back when my equipment wasn't great.

Omg, I absolutely equate productivity w self-worth and believe one should, else being on the couch is all that matters. And that leads to a depressed life. Get up. Do something, Then do another thing, and so on. I don't think self-worth is possible without productivity of some kind. Humans must achieve, produce, create. It is what we are meant to be. Feeling good about being productive is valid. And yes, it's about self-worth as it should be. click
