I lived in Suffolk for about 12 years, this tale is well known to the people of Suffolk, I've always found it a fascinating tale, there's quite a bit information in local churches, I must say you're picking some cracking stories, who ever does the narration they have a great voice for a bedtime story.

You know what so strange about this story.... when i was 9 years old i stayed for a week long holiday in England with a school friend on her grandparents PEA farm. We ate peas night and day and after a week my mum picked me up and was shocked that my skin had turned green! So had my friends! Yet these green children only ate the beans. I believe they came from that area where this was the main food group and they spoke Flemish.

Every other version of this story that I have heard has said the green skin was down to their diet of only green vegetation, hence why it faded over time as they adapted to different foods.
It is generally believed they were immigrants, and the daughter even got work as a maid and later married.

I believe the child’s story of where they came from. Sometime’s, maybe, we just aren’t meant to understand. Wonder, and mystic is a part of the world we live in. I for one like the mystery and uniqueness of our plant.

I really think the kids came from inner earth. I don't completely believe in the hollow earth theory, but it's easy to believe the Earth's mantle is at different depths. Excellent video.🙂👍
