There was once a strange folk tale that spoke of the Green Children of Woolpit. They were strange, green-tinted children who supposedly came from an unknown world. Could they have been people from an alternate universe? Or perhaps they were aliens? Who knows. Here's the bizarre, mysterious, yet fascinating story of the Green Children of Woolpit.

There is a common parasite found in China that turns your eyes and skin green. (Liver flukes) this could not only explain the boy getting sick and dying but it also could explain the girl eventually getting better. If she was only eating needs then a sudden change in diet could have killed the worms. Also with they changing your eye color that could be why she said everything was green. I think they were actually just held captive in a cellar by a man which would explain why they said it was always twilight. And they got sick down there. The person holding them captive found this out and opened the door. The sudden intense light made them pass out and he left them to die in a wolf pit. Someone found them and the rest if in the stories

The other day my mom was telling me a story about the green children coming out of a cave in a mountain that was flooded with fresh water here in mexico, the time that they came out was when a dry season came and the mountain lost a lot of water. It was a boy and a girl that came out, she told me that the kids would only eat raw fishes and green veggies.
maybe there is green children popping out in various parts of the world, shrek must have had quite an affair.

This sounds like a bit of reality mixed with fantasy. They're describing green sickness aka hypochromic anemia because of their poor diet..which would explain why the girl lost her green tinge after eating a varied diet yet the boy died.

They are from an area closer to Agartha or Hyperboria which is at the center of our flat earth, the north pole in globular earth. Maybe not exactly from there due to the distance they would have to travel but from an area closer to the center of the dish. There could be a slight dimensional shift that happens at a certain point but the perpetual twilight relates to flat earth and the land known as Agartha or Hyperboria or whatever name you wanna choose from our history

I think the second person who retold the story is embellishing for religious and political reasons. In his version, the children came from a place full of churches, named after a saint, and the girl (like in the fairy tales), because she's so good, marries a rich and powerful man. He turned it into a fairy tale to support the Christian church, as opposed to any other type of church. I trust the first recording of the story, even though it doesn't give as much information. Because of that fact, it seems to be the more honest version. I believe it though. I certainly won't discount it. People from inside the earth? Is it possible? Darn right! Another dimension neatly folded within ours? Prove that it isn't there. Everything is possible.

How could anything grow if the sun never would come fully up? That is the opposite to what plants need to be green, or people eating nothing but beans green. I had a friend that would only eat carrots and her skin turned orange. So, being green could be true, but not the part of plants being able to grow in twilight.

First of all, the girl would have probably said if they didn’t eat. They sound like they were normal kids working the field on their property.
They were old enough to have heard church bells before. Something drew them to the River and brought their attn to the “bright city”… wonder how they crossed the River though?

I’m convinced they came through a portal. The skin color changed because the food was different, not because they didn’t have food at all.
It’s a shame that the brother died, but TOTALLY understandable that this all overwhelmed him, he wanted to go back home, he couldn’t communicate, he didn’t recognize or trust the food…. His sister was probably younger and not as entrenched in their old world as deeply as him.
