My son lives on Skye and it's always a blessing to visit him especially pre tourist season
. but I must say people need to research single roads with passing places and driving on the left. . !.. big issue for the skylanders who live there. . but for sure a magical wee island that touches the soul regardless where you were born .. ..💜

"Government subsidized" with regards to the ferries means that the people of Scotland are forced to pay a portion of the fare for everyone who rides them. While I might appreciate paying less, I'd feel a lot less guilty if the fare was not subsidized.
