The Isle of Skye has to be the most magical place I've ever been. I returned from an epic 6 day journey visiting some of the most iconic locations in Scotland's beautiful highlands.

Some recommendations when visiting the isle of Skye. Be prepared for bugs, that was the worst part about being there. I got swarmed by tiny biting gnats that were extremely annoying. I also got a tick so definitely bring some bug spray. Also driving on the left hand side of the road is tough and the roads in Scotland are often one lane so get ready for some fun! :)

The negative comments from some of my fellow countryfolk are embarrassing, especially the ones that can't offer a tiny morsel of a complement Many a Scot struggles with the Gaelic place names and you clearly meantioned that you passed Glenfinnan Viaduct on the way to Skye and that it wasn't in Skye.
