I finally understand. Not because it wasn't explained before, but watching your videos and coming back to my results. Now I get it.

Thanks so much for this info. My audiologist has only done the basic audiogram on me - so many tests have been left out!

Most useful. Haven't had a test since 2016, so it's time I had another. The new Phonak Sphere Infinio looks interesting, as does the Oticon intent. . Best wait a while, to see if the Phonak has any problems that need ironing out.

Thanks Dr. Cliff. That was, indeed, a lot of information. I will need to watch this again after my upcoming hearing exam. Thanks for presenting this.

Thanks for the explanation...my VA Audiologist accused me of faking, then gave me an ART. His attitude changed quite a bit after that. I've wondered what the subtext was behind that experience.

Hx of tympanomastoidectomy, with porcelain prosthetic middle ear bone 30 years ago due to Cholesteatoma. Moderately severe high frequency loss on the right. My recent audiogram has lead my ENT/Audiologist to want to treat it. It's weird to think of what I've missed when it was just my normal. Thank you for your content!

Thank you for the information since that last part of the brain testing wasn't even in my 1970 Deaf School and public grade school through highschool and college in 1970 throughout to 1984 . Until 2012 and 2015 I got hearing testing all of them but last one you mentioned wasn't tested for me brain testing . I failed everyone of them I have 74% hearing loss both ears since Born premature baby .

Your videos have been a big help. I live in Japan and am getting fitted for hearing aids your best practices has helped me make sure I'm getting what I need. My inital fitting there was so much they missed. but in my next visit I was able to get them to do what they should have done on the first visit by following your guidelines. In one of your video's you talk about an "international word recognition test" I think that was what you called it. I can't find that can anyone tell me what that test is?
