Other videos say it was $2 from Dolly and $10 million from Walmart plus Walmart matching donations that is $2.5 million so far.

They could have sent them 7 days ago. Why didnt they? These brave Men and Women were ready as soon as rescues were necessary. They had all resources and capabilities on hand. Why werent they dispatched. Death toll is over a 1000. Bodies being found daily. Some possibly hundreds will never be found.

Why did they wait so long. Governor Cooper should be ashamed of himself. These people need help now.

The people have a lot of building skills; if money donated could be put towards hiring builders to work with the people to rebuild their towns, money could go farther and the communities could be restored more quickly.

It could provide incomes for people in the towns who could be paid for their labor. The livelihoods of the people are essential for the communities to survive and be restored.

It is their land, and they want it. We need to have the government help them rebuild, stronger and better. It is our hard-earned money; we have been generous with helping other countries, but it is time we use it for us. How about you find the funds, maybe use the infrastructure fund. It is our tax money let us use it for us now. People stand firm they must rebuild the businesses and homes. Not make people move out. They keep building on the beach's what is different with the mountains? It is the people's land they cannot have it. We will no longer sit by and say ok to it. We are not as dumb as they want us to be nor as divided as they want us to think. Together people helping people we can get through this and stand as one. Rebuild the people's homes and farms. Towns and churches. We are all each other got. We cannot let them take it. We will not let them. Generations up in those mountains of family and history it is our land. Give them the funding, find it. We stand together. Peace!

Leave your property indefinitely for the government can come and take it away!

I feel really bad for these people because I love my home too, but at some point they really need to consider coming out of their remote homes in order to free up relief workers to help others that may not have been reached yet. I saw the Cajun Navy taking diabetes meds up and thought...well now they are going to have to go back to resupply them, how long will these people be able to continue to offer this service to people that don't want to leave their homes? We have a new storm coming into Florida; could be another large one; it IS peak hurricane season.

"Leave indefinitely" who thought that up? People are going to say it's a conspiracy because it doesn't sound great.
