I'll be reflashing with this setting when I get home. I agree MHD need to rename this setting, the default limiter is brutal and needs to be avoided.

So I have a 6hp with xhp, I used the shift bog fix and I gave it a few pulls on the way back from work and the power just feels way more linear, I’m glad I saw this

Ken recommended me to check the shift bog on my auto with sutphin custom tune after I mentioned to him that my car sometimes didn't wanna shift from 2 to 3 after a very hard/lots of tire spin launch. Solved the issue ever since and has been fine going on just over 10 months.

I have the manual and i had this option on, i always knew there was something about it and i loved it but could never figure it out but now I know. it's a huge difference on a manual car. Another one that boggles my mind is if you want to launch the car and pin the throttle in 1st gear it is also possible to activate the antilag while holding volume down and traction off. It's a huge difference a bit difficult to activate it every time though. I make my rev limiter at 4k and antilag and it launches like a rocket, it's amazing.

I have been using this feature on my 335Xi MT ever since MHD released it, and I must say that the difference in how the car feels is big. But I didnt know it were a ignition cut, I was just amazed in how much better response the car had post shifts. If I do a fast shift above about 6500 rpm the engine keeps boost and the car continues like a rocket in next gear. I am a little affraid how my x drivetrain likes it tho.

Really from a UI perspective it should say “Rev Limiter:” and have a toggle between “Spark Cut” and “Fuel Cut”.

I’ve always questioned this with your car since on my car I have abused the limiter a lot without any problems, good to see you got it sorted now!

I've never knew what the option actually did. But that makes alot of sense and got rid of my shift bog but I am a manual

Well cook my cranberries! I had no idea what you were on about in this video except for seeing the loss of power in the race shot you showed. But NOW that I'm running the 17T turbos I know what it does! It cuts right out and takes a second or so to come back in. I'll be checking this box tomorrow! Hopefully it'll work for me too.

On manual cars you can use it to flat foot shift.

i'm on brand new stock turbos. fmic arm motorsport kit with tial bov, silicon inlets and filters. arm downpipes. mhd rev limiter set to 6000rpm. burger fuel pump stage one full e85

Very useful vid, felt bogged down everytime I have been shifting past 6700, gonna give this a shot and hope it fixes the issue.
