It just feels so paradoxical. He seems so well tempered. I would have never thought a narcissist would go live on TikTok admitting they are that.

Narcissism is not cool. I only respect the ones that get treated. The ones that don't can 🔥 🔥 in hell. They are horrible people horrible When it comes to relationships and
in the workplace it's just all bad.

For real though avoid these kinds of people unless you have unlimited ability to give.

I can tell you without a doubt he does NOT have narcissistic personality disorder.

People with NPD do NOT have the ability to be introspective & self reflective. Thus they are very rigid personality patterns & incapable of change.

There is a difference between someone who has NPD & someone has a "big ego & loves praise" like this guy.

Diluting what NPD actually is & what this harmful personality pattern is really about trivializes their danger in interpersonal & social relationships AND minimizes the devastating effects of the narcissistic abuse.

They are born that way. If it was a teaching thing theyd be able to be taught. They are certainly born that way.

This kind of normalizes a person with NPD. I mean we have all gotten into trouble whether or not it was justified. I used to get the dreaded "belt" whipping, but I don't suffer from NPD. How is it that NPD will "click" on for one person who supposedly suffer from trauma, but not another?

I was raised in an NPD family unit but only found out about it after 55 years and much craziness. How does a parent begin identifying one child as the scapegoat and another as the golden child and treats each accordingly? Essentially, enabling the golden child to also treat the scapegoated child bad, throughout life, because that dynamic that was introduced to each at a very young age still exists, even if it is only in their warped mind?

Also, when a family member with NPD traits (unknown at the time) in a discussion or conversation that goes way sideways because said person pathologically lies, is highly manipulative, and creates crazy scenarios that culminates in a charged discussion/argument where they keep changing the topic, then deny they said something in the very next breath after they say it, and even assert that you said what they just said, how does that fit into NPD? This has happened between that "golden child" sibling and I over and over. They don't care how crazy they look or sound, and the way it happens is always the same, and out of earshot of others. Since she doesn't do it with others around to witness her craziness, just her and I, it is obviously intentional.
