So basically, just basic multiplication? 0's are irrelevant? for example
56% of 8? = 6x8 = 48, 5x8+4 = 44 which give me an answer of 4.48.

Out of proportion, but logically self-teaching is way more efficient and adequate, than going to school. teachers have these constricted parameters set on their teaching. Yet, school does help you excel in fine motor skills though :). Btw this not a literal fact! just a personal option. Great video

An easier method would be (a*b)/100. It's basically the same thing as (a/b)*100, just switched around a bit. Works for me.
