I have a few years on ya, bruv, (55) but I've enjoyed The Who since the begining. They were once touted as maybe the loudest rock bands live, to the point where some fans got permanent hearing damage from being clost to the speakers / stage in a live concert ( a Who concert at the Charlton Athletic Football Club, London, on 31 May 1976 that was listed as the "Loudest Concert Ever" by the Guinness Book of Records, where the volume level was measured at 126 decibels 32 metres from the stage, jet planes during take-off are about 120 decibels). So Much so that it is said that Pete Townshend, the lead guitarist, keyboardist, secondary vocalist, writer, and all around fantastic muscician, was diagnosed with tinnitus .

On a side note, I'd still love to hear you react to RUSH, be it "Tom Sawyer" or "Spirit of Radio". The lyrics and playing are second to none.
