Hey Everyone! In this video, we'll be going through how to solve quadratic equations using the quadratic formula. In this algebra 1/algebra 2 tutorial, we'll be solving 3 quadratic equations using the quadratic formula. During these example problems, we'll also encounter square roots that we'll need to simplify, and we'll talk about alternative ways of solving these quadratic equations such as factoring by grouping.

I got x=3 plus or minus square root of 6. Is this correct?

So, if equation is:
_x^2 - 6x + 9 = x - 3_
I should decrease it to equals 0:
_x^2 - 7x + 12 = 0_
And then use the quadratic formula to solve it:
_- ( -7) ± √ -7^2 - 4(1)(12)/2(1);_
_7 ± √49 - 48/2;_
_7 ± 1/2;_
_x1 = 7 + 1/ 2 = 4;_
_x2 = 7 - 1/2 = 3;_

So, I did the example 1 problem and I ended up with x=18/4÷2 for the plus and for the minus I got x=2/4÷2. I started with the plus first and got [x=9/2] and for the minus I got x=1/2. Please let me know if it was correct or if there's more steps to the problem anyways thanks again for the amazing content I'm really learning. 🙌‼️
