Setting up motion detection is an effective way to reduce false alarms and improve the accuracy of alerts. By setting detection sensitivity, you can actually adjust the detection distance, and the sensitivity schedule allows you to set different sensitivity value for different time periods. By setting motion detection zones, you can exclude areas where false alarms often occur, and anything within the zones will not trigger the alarm.

Is there a way to record MOTION ONLY and one minute after. Mine records 24/7 in 30 minute files motion or not. My last system had a checkbox ( motion only ) worked flawlessly for 12 years (died on the 3rd hard drive I installed) had an easy search system I could search date and time to start and date and time to stop searching. I could check all the files it found and play them at an adjustable speed I could choose until I found what I was looking for.

Is there a way to set up the alarm beep when a person enters a certain area in the camera's field of view, without having to block out detection zones?

(For example, I want the motion detection to still pick up people walking in the field of view as normal, but beep only when they walk into my driveway)

It would be great if you could setup times slots for individual events. One time slot for person detection, one time slot for pet detection, etc. instead of all lumped together.

My RLC 520a is still recording 24/7 no matter what I do on the NVR or the reolink app. When I select the detection alarm on the app I keep getting a failed to load click to try again notification on the screen but it will not open this cameras detection alarm screen. It works fine on the two other type cameras I have, the b400 and the RLC 520.

I know Home assistant allows control of Reolinks trigger events from motion detection. Is it possible for Home assistant to have Reolink doorbell trigger alexa to activate smart switches to turn lights on/off. For an example, when someone walks to my front door, the reolink doorbell cam detects motion and triggers an event that turns the front porch light on, outside floodlights, garage lights etc. The reason I ask is because Home assistant works with my reolink camera system but does not work with my home smart switches (Treatlife) Any help would be appreciated.

I have already bought 3 Reolink cameras and work nice but my problem is that i cannot get a siren/sound alarm in my mobile or in my PC... i can see only a notification in my phone that alarm triggered but no sound, no alarm... any way if the camera detect motion to make a sound on my PC or mobile phone ?
