Why can I only create rectangular activity zones ?

Its great if this feature worked. but it DOESN'T work. So you get notifications for every cat, dog, shadow, rubbish, car outside of the activity zone. Its a known issue and support cant fix it.

Yeah....doesn’t work. My wife and I just got 3 Pro 4’s. I set up zones so I wouldn’t catch my flag waving in the wind or the trees blowing in the woods behind our house. While I don’t get any notifications, my camera is just constantly recording. Battery from 100 to 80 percent in just a few days. If my camera picks up movement outside of the zone, then what’s the point of even creating a zone?!

I can’t find anywhere on your website or YouTube videos how those Ultra 2 / Pro 4 cameras are armed? Do they detect if my smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network and start sending me motions alerts only after I leave home?

Is detection more accurate if the object "crosses" the line and into the activity zone? Or do activity zones simply detect whatever's going on inside regardless of whether something "trips the wire, " so to speak.

We've had nothing but problems with our Pro 4 cameras. Connections with a hub lost etc.

So what if you don't use the ac plug to activate the activity zone but you keep seeing this notification on you app screen keeps reminding that ac power has been disconnected from your arlo device and activity zone are currently disabled and it has a orange or yellow triangle on the bottom right corner of the screen. How do you get rid of that, please help...!

It only works if you have it is plugged into an outlet, Whats the point of having battery powered cameras. pointless.

This video is MISLEADING, to say the least. Even though we have zones, it only covers a square (or rectangular) area. The trapezoid shapes the video suggests you can do, don't actually exist on the app. Pretty disappointing. Don't buy Arlo cameras if you are interested in Activity Zones.
