What's connection between Black Holes and Quantum Computing?

Join physicist Brian Cox as he explains the connection between Quantum Computing and Black Holes by giving an example of Einstein's thoughts on Black Holes and what would happen if light enters one. He starts by discussing what Einstein proposed about the end of time if light enters a Black Hole, but that was before the modern understanding of Black Holes and Quantum Computing. Moreover, he discusses two real photos of Black Holes that have been captured. Additionally, he explains the connection between Black Holes and quantum computing, citing Stephen Hawking's thoughts on what would happen if light enters a Black Hole. Finally, he talks about how theoretical physics contributes to the study of Black Holes and Quantum Computing

I just love this guy, he explains everything so clearly, and I am left lovi9ng space and science. Thank you Mr. Brian Cox.

In 1917, Einstein proposed the concept of Stimulated Emission. It wasn't until 1954 that someone came up with a Practicle application of the concept, and in 1960, the LASER was invented. Theoretical physicists typically don't bother themselves with the practical applications of their discoveries, rather they let engineers and experimental physicists do that

What show is this from. I cannot get enough of Brian Cox's shows, The Universe, Cosmos, How The Earth Was Made. I want these shows to come back to the mainstream!

It's not quite the "end" of time, it's actually the "beginning" of time as soon as the black hole evaporates 😊

After Carl Sagan, he is the next most amusing voice of theoretical physics ❤

I don’t think there is as many beautiful minds in science today as there was back then.

Lots of great scientists but not many that live for their work.

I truly believe that the best scientists are great philosophers too.

Brian Cox is just exemplary in all areas of science he’s a great scientist a great teacher and an incredible communicator

It is so fascinating to think that such things exist in real and its really incomprehensible from a' HUMANS 'perspective.

It's amazing how they come up with this stuff on a tiny planet in the middle of a vast universe using a telescope and human brains.

How would I know that I'm looking at the end of time rather than having experience?

is every black hole centre the same place ? ie the future or is each black a different future/end of time

I would suggest that you would observe a bubble at the bottom of a glass of water. It is originally smaller than when it rises to the top. If you take this bubble to an extreme depth, it will flatten to a form that is lenticular. This is because of the extreme differential of pressure. The gradient at that depth is sufficient to cause this formation. This same gradient exists in space. It is responsible for the galactic shape.

sus palabras me hacen sentir orgullosa de ser humana.Ojala antes de irme de este mundo pueda ver mayor justicia, hermandad entre unos y otros.😊

Can you talk of how it affects our technology in quantum computers

a black centre is the end of time. so that means the future. so is every black hole a different future or the same future

In mind of a human being always want to come to immediate conclusions. "End of time?" I would think not. Beginning to something else perhaps. Not end of time.
