Once when I was bathing my son, I took snow from the window sill and put it in warm water and it disappeared. The look on his little face was amazing and I felt so happy how a little thing like that is so incredible and mind expanding. I don't remember if he was old enough to properly speak. That is one of my favorite memories.

This is why he is such a great communicator of science. He told a lovely and simple story that contains perhaps the most important characteristics of practioners of science...patience, inquisitiveness, and an open mind and heart.

No yelling, no sarcasm, no arrogance...just relating the meaning of a "beautiful phrase".

That guy is one of the few real scientists that i genuinely enjoy listening to because he doesnt have that above you, superiority complex when hes answering a question or talking in general. He puts himself on the same plane of existence of the person hes talking to as if they were him asking the same questions in wonder. Its awesome
