She is so on point about prepoo. I was noticing because it's the winter my hair was so dry. I had to change my routine. I have been prepooing for 2 weeks now. I had to try a few things but for me I have high porosity hair. I don't like artificial ingredients so I used coconut oil. Pure from the supermarket label read. I put it in and placed a plastic cap on it for about 1hr. I would suggest a conditioning cap. Also because I'm on a budget I used the 3minute miracle moist condtioner from Aussie with the shampoo. Everyone can't afford expensive shampoo. Afterwards I sprayed my hair with water, rose water, hair conditioner and oils from a black owned company. Also wild hair growth is good too.

Pre-pooing is suuuuper clutch! And depending on the shampoo I use it serves as an extra layer to prevent my hair from feeling dry if I don't use a moisturizing shampoo initially....my hair also loves camomile oil for moisture & kokum butter as a sealant❤

hi, why is it many hair specialists these days saying we shouldn't use oils on our hairs? I'm a bit confused

I did the PMP method my last wash day without even realising it.

I prepoo-ed and detangled with a mixture of conditioner & olive oil, let it sit in my hair for about 1 hour.
Then i washed with 2 shampoos, one clarifying & one moisturising, and deep conditioned afterwards. I used an aloe & coconut water curl milk to moisturise afterwards.
Then i protected my hair & scalp with hair grease.

I think i did it right, haha.

Honestly I lack knowledge for natural hair care because I grew up getting a press then moving to relaxers. I struggle with selecting the products that work for my hair type 4b/4c? Then I used hair oils for years after going natural. Now I have learned that it was not really moisturizing my hair. I think the problem was not enough water being added to my hair to moisturize my entire scalp and hair. Now I am testing products like aloe Vera, rose water, castor oil, tea tree oil, almond oil, argon oil, moisturizing creams. 🧐

I love how your focus is always about hair care. I now do an acid rinse after I condition my hair and that changed so much for me. I feel like I'm taking better care of my hair than I ever have, but not working nearly as hard as in the past. Let me go on ahead and get these cards, but when are you starting your hair care line???

Hi, I just wanted to know, if I seal my ends with oil, how can I moisturize again in a couple days without washing my hair since moisture locks oil in and out?

How do you feel about hair grease? My mom used to use Blue Magic hair grease when I was little and my hair grew like a weed!! 😁

What about dry scalp. Dry after washing. Flaky day after moisturizing.

Is Pink Luster's a good moisturizer? And I spray water in it. Oils dry my hair out: all the way out.

So we should go : penetrating oil - moisture (creams, leave in ….) and then seal with a butter or sealing oil. That’s right ?
