I'm so happy to have you here, on Kitchen Garden Therapy channel, where I share my experience with growing my food from seed and practicing permaculture principles. My name is Slava, I live in Chicago, I am an herbalist and a cook, love fermenting and canning what I grow. My garden is a very small urban backyard, zone 5b, I am growing in ground, raised beds, cold frame and a little greenhouse. Sometimes gardening is viewed as hard and stressful, my purpose on this channel is to show how therapeutic and rewarding it can be. And how great it is to be at one with nature. I find it to be specifically important in urban areas where people are so alienated from nature. No matter where you live and how much space you have, you can start small and grow together with your garden, eat what you grow and grow what you eat. Hope you find my ideas and experience useful in your gardening journey.

I'm not going anywhere near that pepper. I love heat but my tolerance ends at about a habanero. Cheers Slava!

Take the whole pepper, cut off the top portion about a quarter inch down and dig out the seeds. Boil water for noodles, place the pepper in the boiling water (make sure well vented as the fumes could be an issue) drop in the noodles, about half way before the noodles are done dig out the pepper with a wooden spoon. The noodles will absorb the oils from the pepper, it is amazing (if you like heat). You can use a smaller portion of the whole pepper if it's too much heat.

I freeze them whole and cut off a dime size piece to use in 2 cups of sauce. 1 tomato, a little onion, garlic, cilantro and lime or lemon juice, salt and pepper. Put in blender and use fresh.

🙋🏽‍♀️ TFS… How long will you allow the pepper to marinate in the oil? Please let us know how it turned out.

There are hotter peppers, Pepper D from Inked Gardener is being reviewed by Guinness now to replace this pepper.
But I like reaper peppers, put a slice in your beer. It’s amazing.

That’s a smart way to use those hot peppers and not burn your mouth off! Haha. Will you make pepper powder also?

Love the plant but I think I might have to pass on eating it 😅

There is no way that pepper is adding any kind of flavor to any dish. It is pure hazard. Please do not try this 💀
