Making Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce!

After growing some Carolina Reapers in the garden this year, I was able to put together some hot sauce with my harvest. This is a super easy recipe that can be water bathed for 10 minutes to make shelf stable.

Can I use a vitamix blender instead of a food processor?

Hi. Thank you for the recipe. May I ask you if it is necessary to pasteurized the bottles so they last longer

So I'm curious.. what else did you add in the blender? I see garlic, onions, water but any vinegar? And how much vinegar?
And how come you didn't strain it?
Thanks much. I love this simple recipe. And reapers !

looks nice! How long before it goes bad? if you store it in the fridge?

Those look like some variation of bonnets or red ghost peppers, too smooth to be a reaper. Still very spicy but looks like the seeds might have gotten mixed up

If those were real reapers you would not want more than a couple of drops.

That’s too many reapers. Basically as strong as industrial strength bear spray. I would of use only a couple. At most 3, and the rest of it using sweet snack sized red peppers.
