Have you ever wondered why MewTwo looks so much different from Mew, even though MewTwo is a clone of Mew? This Pokémon theory explains that MewTwo is not just a Pokémon, but also a human.

This makes a lot of sense because in the detective Pikachu movie Mewtwo was possessed by Clifford then used Mewtwos power to transfer humans into their Pokemon after using the R gas. Also Mewtwo used the scientists technology to make Pokemon clones so the scientists having a way to transfer consciousness makes sense.

I'm surprised the anime never touched on the moral implications of owning a Kadabra or other pokemon like Phantump which is literally a child's soul but some trainer decides it now has to fight others like an animal then kept in a ball prison for the rest of the time. Like that's super dark. Imagine a trainer unknowingly owning their dead brother/sister and using it like a animal (as pokemon are the animals of that world)

Personally, I figured that the reason no Pokemon becomes a trainer other than Mewtwo is simply because of mentality. The world only knows humans to be trainers, so the idea never crosses the minds of the Pokemon, but Mewtwo is barely familiar with the world, so he has nothing blocking the thought from his mind. But what you're saying makes sense as well.

Humans and Pokemon getting combined is an interesting concept to me. Recent examples I can think of is Sun/Moon and the Detective Pikachu movies. Just wondering, what do you think of the Mewtwo from the Genesect movie? Most people think that Mewtwo is different than the one in the first movie.

I think the Cubone theory and the Mewtwo theory are related. Mr Fuji wants to help Cubone's mother in Lavender town because he killed her for his experiments.
It feels a bit more connected when you compare Mega Mewtwo X with Kangaskahn. Not perfect, but similar, almost as though they share DNA. DNA from a species related to Kangaskhan, such as Cubone!

Bro I have this weird false memory, like I thought Mewtwo was one half Mew, but the other half a female scientist who tragically died. A male scientist was sick of tracking down Mew, and in grief at the loss of his lab partner (someone he had unrequited love for), that he spliced the two DNA together and that’s how Mewtwo was made.
