Some people go for sunday drives or read the sunday paper, but I prefer the sunday lawn video! nice job as always

Your situational awareness is impeccable. Your recognition of the defense on that milo convert was awesome. If only we all could punish defenses of synthetics the way you did.

You are truly the best, Al. You helped me so much when I was back in Chicago. Out in west burbs now. Before you got super big we used to talk on line a bit. Haven't forgotten you and eternally grateful

I like the "garage talk". Gives you more lawn cred!!

Just started watching your videos in late spring. I live in SE Michigan. I’ve got two applications of Milo down. My grass has never looked better in the 26 years I have been here. By this time in August it is brown and dried out. I use it on my backyard too. It has even seemed to help with keeping the lawn from dying after my dog does her business. Thank you !!!

your videos (and my new neighbors stares and head shakes) have converted me to the green side. now i find myself lying awake in bed watching these videos getting me pumped for the morning so i can get out there and tackle my sad little lawn. i think milorganite owes you some checks because its one of the first things i bought after seed and a quality sprinkler (i did do a soil test prior to fert, it needed nitro desperately but shockingly it was very high in phosphorus)

This is exactly the advice I needed! We just moved into a new construction home in Virginia and the lawn is awful. Thank you so much!

Vintage LCN. Tips, sunsets, drone shots, gratuitous Milo plugs. Loved every minute of it. Keep it up Al!

Dear Mr. Lawn Care Nut,

Don't apologize for making a living off what you have fun with. I've enjoyed your content since the NW Indiana days, don't change dude

Great tip earlier this year on hedging our bets to fight off summer disease. Made all the difference in my yard. Summer flew by yet again! Hard to believe us northerners need to plan for fall lawn care already. As for the product vids keep them coming. Never know when your favorite, or not so favorite, tool is ready for an upgrade.

Interesting on the seed choices. I've always been curious about a KBG dominant mix but all the region specific mixes (both big box and specialty stores) are roughly a 80/15/5 mix of Tall Fescue, Rye and KBG respectively. Second most popular alternative is carpet bombing with perrenial rye (5-7 lbs/1000) every fall and just trying to win the battle with volume (most of the local lawn contractors do this). Very few predominantly KBG lawns.

I think part of the issue is that we get such sudden and heavy rainfalls once you get into Sept that waiting 21 days for germination would lead to too many casualties. Lots of poa trivialis contamination as well which is then exacerbated by very wet Springs.

Those palms well takin care of, almost grow like Bamboo....I bought one back in 1994 at Kmart. The lady at the counter told me it would get root bound in the pot and die. Well...I put it in the ground...and now it's like 20 feet high and 6 feet across..I do trim it....it's a perpetual growing plant!

Way to help your fellow yard owner at the Depot Allen. Very nice of you. Another reason I follow this channel. Thanks

Classic video Allyn, the intro was amazing! You just provided a blueprint to follow for pure DOMINATION. By the way, you never have to explain for the recent promos. You've provided years of free content and I support your recent collabos/ventures. Stay safe Brotha!

LCN I love your videos, even the sponsored ones! I found your channel this spring and you've already transformed my 18, 000 sqft lawn. Keep up the good work!

For small bushes I use a sawzall and a diablo pruning blade. Cuts through dirt and roots in seconds.

I saw the hard work and dedication on your project. Excellent!
