In my case it actually helps me cuz when vsync is off even with 700fps it seems laggy and not up to the refresh rate that my monitor runs, so I just have it on and capped at 165hz

If you have a good pc you should leave it on if it doesn’t effect it much. If you do this (I think) it will result in more consistent fps and less frame drops

On Xbox series s with 120hz v-sync is helpful because I get 120 fps but if I have it off I get like 60
