Very good lecture! The time in your studies shows. As i pondered during the lecture, i concluded that in all points of dealing with enemies, is the “source” for being victorious. And that source is God (as we know). When we are bombarded by the hardships of life, we should always run to God and get on our knees before Him. Its that relationship the psalmist has with the one true God that points us to the victory.
I really enjoyed your commentary on the matter, and the time you put in is an inspiration!Thank you!

Even after 5 years, I'm still learning and have long way to go with Holy Bible, brother.

*Matthew 5:43 - 48*
Walking with Lord Jesus Christ's teachings and keep Commandments & Statutes as it is written in Holy Bible. Endure to the End.

I learned stuff my friend. It is because you translated it into daily language and hitched it up to modern experience. This shows how there is nothing new under the sun it only the changing of language. Good job, thanks.

I'm currently building a cannon out of milds-steel can't find can't afford or machine hard steel and can't harden it myself. So I'd like if you could do a mild steel barrel its (E470) steel it says, and the dimensions are 51, 30mm od and 26, 70mm id and 500mm. long, I'm going to thread the bottom for a plug . I'd love if you could do that! I've searched everywhere and can't find anything, I can't even find the peak pressure of blackpowder..

I left the Catholic church to marry my wife & converted to her Evangelical Christian faith. You mentioned prayer, I never understood prayer, if God has a plan & that's the fate then why pray? Why would God change his plan for our prayer? Could you explain why a person would pray?

The "enemies" were LITTERAL ENEMIES when the Psalms were written. Trying to CHANGE that interpretation would NOT be Biblical.
We keep trying to read the text with a modern EYE and IGNORING the CONTEXT of the time it was written, and that is VERY WRONG & IGNORANT.

Case in point. "Turn the other cheek" being ONLY about being forgiving. Half true.
In those times, ROMANS could BACK HAND a NON-CITIZEN but had to SLAP a CITIZEN, an EQUAL.
So "turn the other cheek" was to forgive them, BUT to ALSO make them treat you as an EQUAL

The Psalms were written BEFORE Christ came to FULLFILL the law.
And the Psalms were written by Jews, who have been under attack, since forever.
