Hey, Lee! Amazing video! Really instructive! I really like your channel.

One of the things that was also creating a problem on High Street was the turn from Cranson to Mill Street (around 17:30). Lots of vehicules coming from High St were facing traffic coming in the other direction on Cranson St. A yield/give way sign on Cranson St, just before Mill St (facing High St), would help a lot, if someone wanted only one lane turning on High St.

You could also have on the third phase at 13:00 allowed through traffic from right to left to go through, since the through traffic is on the outer two lanes, and cars are not allowed to change lanes through the intersection. I'd hope that left-turning traffic from the cross street is then smart enough to turn onto the innermost lane automatically (and if it is not, you can force it with lane connections). At the same time the pedestrian light on that side should ideally *not* be green, since you have right-turning traffic from the cross street crossing it. I'd probably just add a fourth phase where all car signals are red, and all the pedestrian signals are green.

On streets with lots of pedestrians, I like to put all the crosswalks on the same step and disable them in the other steps.

This doesn’t work for me, no matter what I try. Same crappy traffic jams.
