The network path was not found - How to fix error code 0x80070035

Error 0x80070035 can occur when the network itself is working as designed but users make mistakes in typing in the network path name.

The path specified must point to a valid shared resource on the remote device. Windows file and/or printer sharing must be enabled on the remote device, and the remote user must have permission to access the resource.

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops,and tablets running the Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 7 operating systems.Works for all major computer manufactures (Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba, Lenovo, Samsung).

Works well. Additionally it might require checking the firewall setting especially with anti virus software. Flag the network as trusted, just incase you have Kaspersky installed.

Had this issue in Win 7 64 Bit, while trying to access a NAS on my network a prompt appeared saying it couldnt access the NAS, this was even though it was showing in "My Computer". I could access via the Ip address but not the hostname. Ended up the issue was my anti virus software, Bitdefender to be exact. I solved it simply by creating an exception to the NAS's ip address in the firewall settings.

Windows 10 Enterprise, here. Version 1803, OS Build 17134.556
Used to work before, stopped after Windows update.
Windows 10 Error code: 0x80070035 "The network path was not found"
Solution:
On your computer open the "Control Panel" -> "Credentials Manager" -> "Windows Credentials" and create new Windows credential for the computer\NAS where your share is.
Use the credentials of a user on that computer\NAS who has the admins permissions on the share...
VOILA, it works!

It solved it for 2 min, I walked away from my laptop for 2 min and tried to do it again and it failed again.

Just restart the hosting computer and secondary computer then reset up the sharing options
