Evad.
Then you use the mirror and Reflect it to Dave.
On one page you get Cassidy and on the opposite page with the mirror you get Dave.

So its David Afton.

The problem with this is that in order to get the N you have to bend around backwards and break the rules of the other 3 letters.

Please Pin: Actually the name is Dave. Basically it was known for a long time that the name had EVA. However finding the last letter was difficult as you found it through CC and Cassidy's conversations, and CC answered questions weirdly. Originally a person used a whole other system for the last letter, N, but it always felt weird that their wasn't a diffinitive way to find the name (Evan) especially with an outlier. But throughout the book Cassidy asks questions some answered, some not. But CC had what was considered a completely seperate one liner of "I'm scared" which again was weird as an outlier but was shrugged off. Well what went unnoticed was the question "Do you still see Nightmares?" as Mike (he was also writing but that's another story and this is already long af) had written a response instead of CC. He responded by drawing Nightmare Freddy from FNAF 4, which we know had the CC as the MC and as well as the whole 87 incident. So if you put that in as the question response you get "EVAD". And there's know real big secret for the flipping it part. The page after the Foxy puzzle is a mirror and "reflecting" is brought up a lot in the book.

What a lot of people have a problem with is the "I'm scard" answer which should be the answer to the question

"Do you still dream" or something like that

But Evad is not a name

The book always says stuff about refleting and reflection and there is this mirror that is on the page beside the one you find Cassidy's name on that ask

"What do you see?"

Now for those who don't know a mirror is a flipped image of you so if you write something then put it up to a mirror it will ve backwards

Dave is still another theorized named for the crying child, and it also has problems. and that is because the tally marks aren't going to be used, and another is the response that crying child answer when cassidy asks him what you see, and i can hear sounds.

Placing the tally marks into the Foxy grid in chronological order gives three coordinates (as there's only six clups of tally marks), which gives the name *Sam*.

It's the most straightforward and unconvoluted answer. As the ITP devs (and Mr. Hippo) said, Occam's Razor is the way to go.



Plus, unlike Evan, it's an actual name used by a pre-established child character in the series, which makes this way more likely.

This character is also tied to the co-founders of Fredbear's, and since the Crying Child is believed to be a son of the co-founders, and the pre-established *is* the son of one of the co-founders.

This is the most simple and likely answer. Plus, you don't have to rely solely on the Logbook for it.



These are the steps:


Starting at the bottom right corner, 5 horizontal, 10 vertical.

Then top left, 5 horizontal, 9 vertical.

And finally, top right, 5 horizontal, 5 vertical.

(and if we had more tallies/letters, we'd go to the bottom left, and then restart in the bottom right).

Honestly, another thepry I've heard makes more sense. Last letter which follows same rules as other 3 being D which makes evad, but spelling Dave in the mirror.
