this scene probably would’ve been better if the useless resistance foot soldiers had first order foot soldiers to kill rather than just to be killed off for show

1:31 the first order would of easily won the battle if they didn't deploy their units 500 billion miles away from the base

The tie fighters got more action than the new walkers did

This is them trying to recreat the battle of hoth, after rewatching this scene and hoth, the effect and walker model were great
But it felt lacking, both hoth and crait tried to show how imposing that badguys were while the good guys have to fight for survival
Hoth while not a flawless scene did much better representing it,
It showed war, the rebel throw everything they have at the walkers snowspeeders anti tank guns unfantry fire, hoping in slightess to slow them down, they did well making the empire seems strong and feel undefeatable, showed how in the conventional war the rebel cant beat them even with everything they have
Here, i just cant explain its not bad
But not as interesting as hoth

Those ski speeders are so useless the resistance would've been better off using fighter planes from WWII.

Not the biggest fan of the sequels, but the quality of video FX and sound FX, all tied together by Williams’ score, makes it one of my favourite scenes in Star Wars. Top notch production when you don’t factor in the story

So, the falcon dipping into the fissure snd tie fighters unable to evade eas pretty much a mix of the asteroid field chase from Empire strikes back, and death star 2 from RotJ

What a Battle. Cutting ot the AT M6, nothing changes. Cutting the Junk Speeders, nothing changes. The Fake Rebellion got a Base inside of a big Mountain with an oversized Armoured Door, but nearly all of them standing between! it and the Enemy Force's to feed there Canon's. There is only one thing the Worst Order did right ( one more than the Fake Rebellion) sending Tie's for an Air Strike. Oh, and Nerd fact: a closer look on Millennium Falcon's Bottom Canon shows, this Canon can't fire forward. Even Jar Jar Abrams knows that.
