As a master of a trade this hits me hard. Right into the feels

While the sequels were divisive, this is easily one of the best scenes in Star Wars. It really ties the whole saga together, because this is something Yoda learned regarding himself back during the prequels, which he now passes down to Luke. Very beautiful scene.

The conscious decision to make Yoda a practical puppet I think was a wonderful feature in a pretty divisive movie. Not to mention a touching nod to the films gone by. Sometimes the old ways really are best.

That knock on Luke's head made me tear. Its like a teacher lovingly reprimanding his fav student!

Best part of the movie. As a martial artist, and having seen students leave for whatever reasons, this is a gut punch. I had tears.

In the 30 years between the original trilogy and the sequels, we, the audience, also grew Luke beyond. He's only human, he makes mistakes... And that doesn't stop him from being a legend.

When the movie released into theaters, I went to a private screening for the film and asked why they used a puppet Yoda instead of the cgi one from the prequels. And one of the guys who was either in charge of production or writing said that they knew that Mark Hamill was more familiar to the puppet than the cgi version.
