A nice variation on the pickled onions is adding a bay leaf to the jar!

❤I really enjoyed this style of video. With the relaxing jazz and conversational style, it was a bit like being over at a friend’s house just hanging out in the kitchen.

You are a joy to watch! How wonderful to have fresh home cooked meals everyday. I’m 57 and our lunch was “why are you inside? Get back out there!” We’ve come a long way so thank you!!

Make your yogurt in instant pot. Sooo easy! One containers of fairlife milk..a couple spoons of yogurt with active cultures( i throw a container of Greek into mine) if you want it sweeter…. Add sweeter condensed milk. Put on yogurt setting and that’s it! So good and sooo easy. Chill for 8 hours. I put mine in a Greek strainer so my yogurt is thicker.

I'm in a completely different season of life now -- in my 50's with only one child left at home -- and grown children and grandbabies, and I love watching your channel. Just keep being you.

What a relaxing video! Love the music in the background, so simple yet it adds so much! I envy your Instant Pot abilities. I received mine as a Christmas gift from my daughter two years ago and I still can’t do it!🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m embarrassed to admit it. She even bought me a cookbook specific to the appliance. I’ll get it someday. I would definitely make my own yogurt. I’ve watched your sister Laura do it before on her channel. Your channel IS encouraging! Young wives and mothers need all the encouragement they can get!!! Thank you.🫶🏻

I’ve never seen anyone roast tinned tomatoes, I’d suggest that you drain off the liquid if you’re going to roast them & add the liquid back in at the end. I hope you don’t mind me commenting 😊

I am 59 yrs old, and I really enjoy your channel. Love that you decided to change from using insta pot to cast iron to brown the chops. I do the same at times and just wing it too as you did. Sometimes those meals turn out to be the best meals.
Keep on being you. Your doing great. Your show is very inspiring.
That rowing machine looks really neat.

I make yogurt in my Crock Pot every week. Heat the milk on high until it reaches 180 degrees. Takes about 2.5-3 hours. The let it cool to between 120 and 115. While it’s cooling, set your starter on the counter. It will take a couple hours for the milk to cool. Once it cools to 120 ish, add the starter. I also add honey and vanilla. Let it sit on the counter for 6 hours covered with towels. You don’t want light to reach the milk. After 6 hours, put in fridge over night. You’ll have yummy yogurt in the morning. I make mine with whole milk. I know you can do it quicker in the Instant Pot but I like the crock pot method better. Good luck!

Love your videos! I make yogurt in my instant pot. I hear my milk to 180 degrees let it cool to 110 degree. I add about 1/4 cup of organic yogurt ( after that I save 1/4 cup from my just made yogurt). Hit the yogurt setting on instant pot when it's done I put it in a fine mesh strainer I got on Amazon let it drain of the whey. I like my yogurt with fresh fruit a little maple syrup and some homemade granola.

The soup looks great. I never ever thought to roast canned tomatoes in the oven. I must try that ❤❤
