Great list. Agree with a lot of them. That Pro-tech has been on my list since it dropped. Great job.

That Protect TR-3 Integrity was a surprise to me when I bought it. It hits every bit as hard as the auto's but it's manual. The alum scales are fat and solid and the feel and acoustics are addictive.

Ontario has a Rat in Magnacut now for like $89 and it HRC tested at 63.8. I was shocked but the Rat is a great hard use knife with a great steel now.

Some great knives at good prices, it's great that you can get premium materials st relatively great prices these days makes them very obtainable no matter your budget, of course the more money you spend the more bells and whistles you can get but still great value for the money. Thanks for the great vid and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

First aid kits are underrated! I’ve had one for years beating around in the truck. It’s been used more than my hammer. I say that to say this MAKE SURE YOU REPLENISH YOUR KITS!! I stuck the blade of my razor harp hatchet in-between the the hand and big knuckle bones the other day and discovered that after years my kit was DRASTICALLY underprepared for this! I was down to the little tiny bandaids and some random shiz. I had to improvise with shirts and masking tape but it woulda been nice to have good sterile care on hand. Don’t keep putting off getting a good kit. You may regret it sooner than u think. At the least maybe you could help others with your new kit. Believe it or not Americans used to help each other out when needed now we just hate and point cameras.

Hello Jared, long time fan of your work and reviews! I know this might be the wrong place to ask this question, but when dealing with angle sharpeners, like the TSPROF, etc, do you still need to wet the stones they use?? I have seen you on occasion wet some but for the most part you and everyone who shows how to use these systems, I never see anyone keeping them wet? Any help would be appreciated as I’m an okay sharpener but when I don’t wanna bust out my stones, it’s one of these systems I’m looking at to help friends and family to just make mostly kitchen knives sharp without being scalpel like! Merry Christmas and thanks for your advice on your awesome channel!

There's also the Kaviso/WE Praxis, a full ti framelock version of the Civivi Praxis with thumbstuds. It's a great knife for $212. Awesome content thanks!

just bought some super skin bandaids from your amazon link... Idk if you saw my comment on one of your recent vids but I got my misdemeanor and it's so sick. The DLC is so sexy, the blade is one of the sliciest, and the ergos are fantastic. Great work! Well worth the price of admission. Thank you!

I bought the Mokuti / Silver Ti qsp so damn fast. I've been looking at the qsp penguin for the past week and just couldn't find anything I wanted. Luckily I waited. That's a crazy deal. Now i got to order some of those band aids.

Have 3 Miguron knives

Very very impressed with the action, it’s not as good as WE’s
But it’s better then all the other “Amazon” brands
Such as QSP, Artisan cutlery/ CJRB, Kansept/tenable, Petrified fish and Kizer

I think they are right there with Kershaw, as far as Kershaw’s manuals go

But they need to improve their finish work, the fit is there, now just the finish

But it’s all minor stuff, they do a proper heat treat, and I’m impressed at just how consistent they are
As much as I like CJRB, their action is knife dependent
Same with QSP in my experience, and others

But Miguron hits it consistently well
Just wish they would do like Artisan and Kansept, and get into those more weird and fun designs, and the better Finish work those companies do

Those 3 are like the affordable triple trouble
You can 100% be happy if you only bought from Artisan Cutlery, Kansept and Miguron for the rest of your knife collection journey

Jumping into WE, Bestech and Reate knives means getting into knives that often cost 2x as much

The story on the designer of the Artisan Boa, holy shit! "17-year-old Canadian knifemaker, Johnathan Shaw is the youngest designer on the Artisan Team."
😳A 17 yr old designed that knife. I'm at a loss lol, blown away!

I want the thumb studs and flipper.
It’s a tactical blade so, that’s the reason.

I chose to buy from his Canadian counterpart.

Hey Jared you should sharpen up that Lionsteel and see how the MagnaCut does. Would be an interesting video. We could see if Italian steel is still shit or if it’s actually improved in the past couple years.

Looks like you can also get the Penguin from Kaviso with purple or glow in the dark green scales in ELMAX for $109. Its such a good time for knives.
