Any problems for people who are already on Skilled Worker Visa (3 years) and will be needing 2 more years after the contract ends ? (Although employer has mentioned in the contract that the extension will be done)

Hi. Thanks for the update and breaking down the important points from the new bill. Could you provide your opinion as to how this might affect research students like PhD students, who I think are eligible to get a 3 year PSW visa after their completion of degree? Any updates regarding their employability and scholarship/stipend rate reviews?

Increasing the time duration to get license for sponsorship clearly indicates they don't want immigrants. Instead better they should close the immigration completely at least people will not waste their time in applying to UK and focus on much better options like US, Europe etc.
